In China, most scholars in the past (hundred year before) can carve their own seals and may also order from local graver or seal marker (craftsman) with their own name (‘signature’). Seals are roughly classified as official & private, and private seal was common from the king, nobleman or ordinary people. Your seals will be handled by sophisticate seal-maker in Hongkong or Mainland China. 100% hand carved stone seals or machine made cattle horn seals are available.

Paper-cutting art is one of the world cultural inheritance rated by UNESCO, it is not only an art but also carry the blessings and wishful thinking of Chinese people. Various auspicious designs (resemble happiness, wealth, longevity...); natural or legendary creatures (flowers, birds, bats, and dragon) and words are common in paper-cutting.
